The All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Forum, Benue State, under the leadership of Senator Barnabas Gemade, Chairman and Rt . Hon. Emmanuel Jime, Secretary, has congratulated some high-performing local government chairmen across the state who have been selected for their exceptional leadership and national recognition.
At the forefront of the commendation is the Executive Chairman of Konshisha Local Government, Hon. Moses Terfa Chikyaa, who recently received the prestigious “Outstanding Local Government Chairman in Nigeria” award at the Nigerian Local Government Development Awards, organized by the Senate Committee on States and Local Government Administration.
Equally and prominently acknowledged is Hon. Vitalis Neji, Chairman of Kwande LGA and current ALGON Chairman, was awarded for his administrative excellence and commitment to grassroots transformation.
Other chairmen are; Ushongo: Terkimbi Adzu, Ukum: Jonathan Modi, Makurdi: Joseph Keffi, Gwer East: Nyiakura Adi, Ohimini: Gabriel Adole, Katsina-Ala: Justin Shaku, Gboko: Barr. Torseer Yina, and Gwer West: Victor Ormin
In a message released on behalf of the forum, Senator Gemade described the achievements of the chairmen as “well-deserved,” emphasizing that the various awards and recognitions they have received reflect the trust their constituents and the nation have in their leadership.
He urged them to remain steadfast in delivering meaningful development, noting that their collective performance demonstrates the transformative impact of effective governance at the grassroots level.
