The All Progressives Congress (APC) has recorded a clean sweep in the just-concluded Lagos State Local Government Elections, winning all declared chairmanship seats across the state.
According to results obtained by ConfirmNews, the APC candidates were returned elected in all local government areas and local council development areas (LCDAs) announced so far by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
The landslide victory further solidifies the APC’s political dominance in the state, with party loyalists celebrating across various wards and communities.

The election was reportedly peaceful across most parts of the state, though reports of voter apathy surfaced in some areas. LASIEC is expected to announce the remaining results soon.
