Benue Celebrates First Female Truck Driver Hired by Dangote

History was made on Friday as 28-year-old Terzungwe Juliana Iorzaa became the first woman from Benue State to be employed as a truck driver by Dangote Oil.

Juliana, a graduate of the Akperan Orshi College of Agriculture, Yandev, has long been determined to excel in a profession widely regarded as male-dominated. After years of dedication and training, her persistence was rewarded when Dangote Oil officially welcomed her to their fleet and presented her with her own truck.

Speaking on her achievement, Juliana described the moment as “a dream come true,” stressing that her journey is proof that women can succeed anywhere, even in the toughest of industries.

She hopes her breakthrough will motivate young women across Nigeria to challenge stereotypes and boldly pursue their passions.

Benue and indeed Nigeria applaud Juliana for blazing the trail.
