Emmiwuks with Nigerian community in Liberia

The Benue community in Monrovia, alongside other Nigerians living in Liberia, has warmly welcomed Nigerian cyclist Emmiwuks, who is on a transcontinental journey tagged NIG2USA on a Bicycle.

On Day 63 of his adventure, Emmiwuks shared moments of bonding with the Nigerian community, describing the reception as “home away from home.”

“Seeing the pride in their eyes reminded me that no matter where you go, home will always find you,” the cyclist said, expressing gratitude for the recognition and solidarity he received.

The event, hosted at Kitchen Africana in Monrovia, provided Emmiwuks with not only a meal but also emotional support that he described as “comfort, love, and strength to keep pushing forward.”

He thanked the Benue people and the wider Nigerian community in Liberia for standing with him, stressing that his mission transcends personal ambition.

“This journey is not mine alone, it’s for all of us. Together we ride. Together we rise. Viva Africa,” he declared.

Emmywuks’ NIG2USA expedition has continued to inspire Africans across borders, promoting unity, resilience, and a message of continental pride as he pedals his way across countries toward the United States.
