Turkish giants Besiktas have initiated discussions with the representatives of AC Milan striker Noah Okafor over a potential loan move this summer, according to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

The Istanbul-based club is said to be keen on securing a season-long loan deal for the Swiss international, who has found limited game time at the San Siro since his move from RB Salzburg in 2023.

Romano also reported that RB Leipzig, who had previously shown interest in Okafor, are monitoring his situation once again, raising the stakes in what could become a transfer tug-of-war.

The 24-year-old forward made sporadic appearances for Milan last season, scoring important goals but largely playing second fiddle to the club’s first-choice attackers.

With Milan reportedly open to a loan move to help the striker gain more consistent minutes, Besiktas are hoping to bolster their attacking options with Okafor’s pace and versatility.

Negotiations are still in the early stages, but Besiktas are optimistic about striking a deal in the coming weeks.
