Burnley Football Club have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign veteran defender Kyle Walker in a deal reportedly worth around £5 million, according to Sky Sports on Thursday, July 4, 2025.
The 35-year-old England international is set to undergo a medical today as the move nears completion. Walker, who has enjoyed a highly successful stint at City since joining from Tottenham in 2017, is expected to bring experience and leadership to Burnley’s backline ahead of the new Premier League season.
The right-back has made over 260 appearances for Manchester City, winning multiple Premier League titles, FA Cups, and Carabao Cups under Pep Guardiola.
Despite his age, Walker remains one of the most athletic defenders in the game and is expected to play a key role in Vincent Kompany’s defensive setup at Turf Moor.
More details on the contract and official confirmation are expected in the coming hours.
