The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDC-FIB) has announced plans to move to the next stage of its ongoing recruitment exercise with the commencement of physical screening and document verification.

In an official statement issued by the Office of the Secretary, the Board disclosed that applicants who performed well in the previous stage have been shortlisted on merit. Successful candidates are required to visit the Board’s official recruitment portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, from Wednesday, January 7 to Friday, January 9, 2026, to select their preferred screening venue and date.

The Board emphasized that all official communication regarding the recruitment exercise will be strictly through the recruitment portal, advising applicants to disregard messages sent via email or other channels.

According to the notice, the physical screening exercise will take place nationwide from Monday, January 12 to Friday, January 16, 2026, across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

CDC-FIB congratulated successful applicants and reiterated that the selection process was conducted in line with the Federal Character principle and the operational needs of the respective services.
