Danish champions FC Copenhagen have completed the signing of German striker Youssoufa Moukoko from Borussia Dortmund in a move worth €5 million, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The 20-year-old forward, once hailed as one of Germany’s brightest young talents, joins the Scandinavian giants on a long-term deal as he looks to revive his career with regular first-team football.

Moukoko will don the number 9 shirt at Parken Stadium, symbolizing his central role in the club’s attacking plans.

Copenhagen’s Sporting Director, Sune Smith-Nielsen, expressed enthusiasm over the signing:

“This is a very exciting transfer. Youssoufa is a player with enormous potential. We believe he can flourish in our system and become a key figure in our ambitions both domestically and in Europe.”

Having made his professional debut for Dortmund at just 16, Moukoko was once the youngest ever Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League player. However, limited game time in recent seasons prompted the need for a fresh start.

The move to Denmark offers Moukoko an opportunity to reboot his career, with guaranteed minutes and the prospect of European competition under a development-focused setup.

Fans of the Lions will be eager to see the young striker in action as Copenhagen gear up for the new season.
