The Dangote Refinery has reduced the prices of petrol and diesel in its latest pricing template released on March 10, 2026.
According to the new pricing structure, the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, has been lowered by ₦100. The price now stands at ₦1,075 per litre, down from the previous ₦1,175 per litre.
For coastal supply, the refinery announced that PMS will now be sold at ₦1,050 per litre. The slight difference in price reflects adjustments linked to maritime distribution and logistics costs.
In a similar move, the refinery also reduced the price of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel). The gantry price of diesel has dropped to ₦1,430 per litre, representing a ₦190 decrease from the former price of ₦1,620 per litre.
However, the refinery clarified that the listed gantry prices do not include statutory charges imposed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).
The latest price reduction is expected to influence fuel supply costs and may impact retail pump prices across Nigeria if marketers pass on the reduction to consumers.
