Premier League sides Everton and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, with both clubs showing strong interest in securing his services this summer.

According to talkSPORT, the Nigerian international has a £9 million release clause in his current contract — a relatively modest fee for a player with Premier League pedigree and defensive prowess.

At 28, Ndidi still has several top-level years ahead of him, and his experience could be invaluable to either club.

Everton are keen to bolster their midfield options as they aim to avoid another relegation scare in the 2025/26 season, while Manchester United are looking to add depth and defensive stability in the middle of the park under Erik ten Hag.

Ndidi, who played a key role in Leicester’s promotion back to the Premier League, has made over 240 appearances for the Foxes since joining in 2017. A summer move could now be on the horizon.
