Flight Transport LTD has rewarded outstanding staff members and strengthened engagement with its drivers’ leadership following a high-level management meeting held with the Drivers National Executive Council (EXCO).
In his welcome address, the Chief Executive Officer, Comrade Chief Dr. Andiir Akor, expressed appreciation to members of the Drivers National EXCO for their dedication to protecting the company’s image and reputation.
He commended the leadership for what he described as their consistent efforts in properly channeling grievances through appropriate structures and for attending the top management meeting in good faith.
The Managing director of the company Dr. Andiir Solomon reaffirmed its commitment to recognizing hard work and rewarding excellence among staff.
Awards and Recognitions
As part of resolutions reached at the meeting, the board announced several awards:
Iorzer Akombo was granted a plot of land valued at several million naira, with valid ownership documents officially handed over.
Jimoh Jube received a cash award of ₦150,000.
Peter Oko, Ojo Salihu, and Gbanger Tavershima were each awarded ₦50,000 in recognition of their dedication and service.
Terseer Mbatyavwua received ₦100,000.
Aondofa Shimagande was awarded ₦30,000.
Yakubu Abdul is to receive a new gearbox to support his operations.
The board also allocated Bus 350 to the company’s General Manager and Bus 357 to the Head of Operations, Mr. Rex Yongu.
Management stated that the awards were part of the company’s broader strategy to motivate staff, enhance operational efficiency, and foster unity within its workforce.
Speaking on behalf of the awardees, beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the board and management for what they described as a strong demonstration of appreciation and support.
They also pledged continued loyalty and commitment to the growth and sustainability of the company.
