Makurdi, Nigeria — Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has brought joy to the palace of Ter Tyosin, HRH Chief Abomtse Daniel, with the presentation of a brand-new Toyota Hilux vehicle and a motorcycle.
The gesture, widely seen as a demonstration of respect and recognition for the traditional institution, underscores Governor Alia’s resolve to deepen collaboration with royal fathers across Benue State.
Speaking during the presentation, Governor Alia described traditional rulers as key stakeholders in governance and community development, noting that their support remains crucial to peace and progress in the state.
In his response, HRH Chief Abomtse Daniel, visibly delighted by the governor’s generosity, expressed profound gratitude and pledged his unwavering loyalty and support for the administration’s people-centered policies.
He assured the governor that the traditional institution under his watch would continue to work hand in hand with the government to promote unity, security, and development in Tyosin and beyond.
