Honda Manufacturing (Nigeria) Limited has officially launched its latest motorcycle model, the Wave 110s, further cementing its commitment to providing affordable, durable, and efficient mobility solutions for Nigerian riders.
The unveiling ceremony took place at Honda’s production facility in Ogun State, where company executives highlighted the Wave 110s’ design, features, and significance for the Nigerian market.
The model, built for everyday commuting, comes with a trusted Honda engine, sleek sporty aesthetics, and the resilience to handle Nigeria’s diverse road conditions.
Speaking at the event on Tuesday, Komine Tetsuya, General Manager of Honda Motors’ Motorcycle Business Unit (Sales Division), said the Wave 110s represents more than just a mode of transport.
“The Wave 110s isn’t just a motorcycle; it’s a dependable partner for work, family, and daily life,” he remarked.
The Managing Director of Honda Manufacturing (Nigeria) Limited, Tetsuya Kawai, also praised the model for blending performance with practicality.
“We understand that many customers need a motorcycle for private use—something stylish, simple to maintain, and easy to ride.
The Wave 110s answers that need,” he explained. “It features a clean and sporty design, hand-start function, under-seat storage, and offers a smooth riding experience.”
The launch coincides with a major global milestone for the Japanese automaker, as Honda celebrates surpassing 500 million motorcycles produced worldwide—a testament to the brand’s global reach and continued innovation.
Tetsuya added that the introduction of the Wave 110s is part of Honda’s broader mission to enhance mobility, economic empowerment, and rider confidence across Nigeria.
The Wave 110s is now available at all authorised Honda dealerships nationwide.
