In a dramatic turn of events, popular Benue entertainers and activists, Harry Nyam and Omo Benue, were arrested on Sunday evening at Hotel Reuphina in Makurdi amid the ongoing peaceful protest sweeping through the state.
Eyewitnesses say the duo, known for their outspoken advocacy for social justice and youth empowerment, were picked up by security operatives shortly after addressing a small crowd near the hotel premises.
