The Benue State House of Assembly has announced that its next plenary session will hold on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10 a.m.

According to a statement by Agile Ordedoo Bem, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Speaker of the Assembly, the public is encouraged to follow proceedings live through BENUE Assembly TV.

Viewers are also urged to engage by indicating their locations while watching, sharing the live stream, and following the official page for updates.

The statement clarified that instances where microphones are muted during proceedings should not be misinterpreted as attempts to exclude the public from sensitive discussions. Rather, this occurs only when the Speaker engages in side conversations with members, as he wears the microphone throughout the session.

The Benue Assembly leadership assured the public of its commitment to transparency and inclusiveness, while calling on citizens to keep a date with the live broadcast.
