Benue Commissioner Hails James Tor’s Appointment as Alia’s Special Adviser, Predicts Landslide in Gboko

The Benue State Commissioner for Renewable Energy, Power and Transport, Hon. Joseph Ter Jir, has congratulated Hon. James Tor on his appointment as Special Adviser on Political Mobilization and Special Duties to Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia.

In a statement issued on Monday, Ter Jir described Tor’s appointment as “well-deserved,” noting his unwavering loyalty and active contribution to the governor’s political journey from inception to date.

The commissioner expressed confidence that Tor’s new role would further strengthen political structures in Gboko, assuring that the area would deliver a resounding victory for Governor Alia in future elections.

“Your appointment is not only fitting but also a reward for your tireless commitment and unmatched resilience. With this strategic partnership, Gboko will stand firmly with His Excellency in the forthcoming elections,” the statement read.

He concluded by extending warm congratulations to the newly appointed aide, describing him as a trusted ally in the governor’s political machinery.
