The Benue State Government has confirmed that the process for appointing a substantive Vice Chancellor for Father Adasu University, Makurdi, is currently in progress.
According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula, mnipr, the exercise will be duly completed, after which the official announcement of the new Vice Chancellor will be made by the Visitor to the University, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia.
Kula further explained that the institution presently has an Acting Vice Chancellor overseeing its affairs pending the completion of the selection process.
He urged members of the public to disregard any rumours or unofficial claims regarding the appointment, emphasizing that only authentic information released by the appropriate authorities should be trusted.
