Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has shared heartfelt words of advice with his daughter, Temi Otedola, and her husband, award-winning singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, during their wedding reception in Iceland.
Temi and Mr Eazi tied the knot in a private ceremony in August 2025, marking the third in a series of elaborate celebrations. The couple earlier hosted a wedding in Monaco on May 9 — a date chosen to honor Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday — followed by a Yoruba traditional ceremony at the Otedola family home in Dubai in July.
In a video from the Iceland reception now circulating online, Otedola praised the couple’s bond and entrepreneurial drive, describing their union as “made in heaven.”
“You found a great guy, very great guy, blessed guy. He’s come from a very decent family,” Otedola told Temi. “You have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He’s your husband, he’s your boss. There’s no more dad, don’t call me up.”
The billionaire noted that both Temi and Mr Eazi share an entrepreneurial spirit, which he believes will sustain their love and success. “Temi is an entrepreneur. Tosin is an entrepreneur. So you match each other. This is made in heaven. For Tosin, you’re going to go places. You are hustlers, real hustlers. And it’s always paid off. Continue to love, Temi,” he said.
Offering further advice, Otedola urged the newlyweds to resolve conflicts privately and avoid involving outsiders in their marital issues.
Ending his speech, he presented the couple with a symbolic wedding gift, declaring: “I thought of what should I give this couple as a present. I thought, I’ve splintered my savings account. This gift I present to you. You go out to the world. You’re both entrepreneurs. Out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You’ll be great people.”
The wedding drew global attention, with family, friends, and well-wishers celebrating the union of one of Nigeria’s most admired couples.
