The wife of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mrs. Regina Akume, has publicly reaffirmed her love, loyalty and commitment to her husband, Senator George Akume, declaring that she has no other husband but him.
Mrs. Akume made the declaration on Wednesday during a New Year Mass attended by family members, friends and well-wishers, where she spoke emotionally about her marriage and faith.
The lawmaker representing Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency used the occasion to express gratitude to God for the preservation of her family, stressing that her union with the former Benue State governor remains strong despite public attention and pressures that come with political life.
According to her, marriage requires trust, patience and mutual respect, noting that her unwavering support for her husband is rooted in love, understanding and shared values.
