Tragedy struck again on Tuesday evening, September 2, 2025, as a woman lost her life in a fatal accident involving a tricycle and a Dangote truck along College of Agriculture–Shabu Road, near the Nasarawa State University, Lafia campus.
Eyewitnesses said the tricycle rammed into the Dangote truck, leading to a deadly impact. The yet-to-be-identified woman died instantly, while several passengers sustained serious injuries.
Operatives of the Nigeria Police from Shabu Division swiftly arrived at the scene, evacuating the deceased and rushing the injured victims to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
The incident comes at a time when Nigerians are still mourning the recent tragic death of Phyna’s sister in a similar Dangote truck accident in Edo State, further intensifying public concerns over road safety and heavy-duty vehicles on Nigerian highways.
Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the latest crash.
