The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the names of successful candidates for its Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025.
According to Air Commodore Ehimen, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, the list was released following the conclusion of the selection board interviews held at the NAF Base in Kaduna from January 12 to February 8, 2026.
He stated that the names of shortlisted candidates have been published on the official NAF recruitment portal for further details.
Successful applicants are expected to commence a six-month basic cadet training programme at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Afaka, Kaduna, starting on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
The Air Force directed all candidates to report with their original credentials for documentation and admission. It warned that failure to report by 6:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2026, will result in automatic forfeiture of the offer.
NAF further clarified that candidates will only be recognised as personnel of the force upon successful completion of the training and subsequent commissioning as officers.
