Former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the immediate past Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, Hon. Chief Terver Akase, has attained another milestone in his academic journey.
On Monday, October 13, 2025, Akase successfully defended his doctoral thesis at Father Adasu University (FAU), Makurdi — formerly Benue State University — earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science.
The successful defense marks the completion of years of rigorous academic research and dedication. With this achievement, he can now be formally addressed as Hon. Chief Terver Akase, PhD (KSM).
Akase, widely known for his eloquence and professionalism during his time as Governor Ortom’s media aide, has continued to distinguish himself both in public service and academia.
