The Benue State Police Command has declared Pastor Fanen Igber of the NKST Church wanted over alleged involvement in criminal conspiracy, terrorism, mischief, and abduction.
According to a warrant of arrest issued by Chief Magistrate Court 1, Makurdi, on August 14, 2025, the clergyman is being sought in connection with serious criminal allegations. The warrant was officially published in the Leadership Newspaper of Wednesday, August 20, 2025, signaling a call for nationwide attention.

Police authorities have urged members of the public with useful information on the whereabouts of Pastor Igber to immediately report to the nearest police station.
“The general public is advised to assist law enforcement agencies with credible information that could lead to his arrest. Anyone sighting the suspect should not hesitate to contact the police,” a source within the Command said.
The declaration has sparked concerns among members of the church and the wider community, as the case underscores the growing efforts by security agencies to clamp down on criminal activities across the state.
