The All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked reports circulating online about the alleged cost of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections, describing the claims as false and misleading.

In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party clarified that it has not taken any decision regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the upcoming elections.

The party stressed that the information being widely shared did not originate from its official channels.

“The report is fake and did not emanate from the party. To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” the statement read.

The APC urged its members, the media, and the general public to disregard the claims and refrain from spreading unverified information.

According to the party, the false reports gained traction on social media, where unconfirmed details about the purported prices of nomination forms were widely circulated.

This clarification comes amid speculation that the APC had pegged its presidential nomination form at ₦200 million ahead of the 2027 elections. However, the party reiterated that no official pricing has been announced.

The APC further advised stakeholders and supporters to rely solely on its official communications for accurate updates on preparations for future elections.
