Veteran entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has accused former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore of being a covert ally of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Charly Boy made the claim while reacting to Sowore’s criticism of Abia State Governor Alex Otti, whom Sowore described as a “failure,” alleging that his administration is delivering only “half transformation” in the state.
Responding in a post on X, Charly Boy said he was not surprised by Sowore’s remarks, recalling their encounter during the “Resume or Resign” protest in the Buhari era. He described Sowore as a “snake under green grass,” accusing him of hiding his true intentions.
Charly Boy further compared Sowore to former presidential aide Reno Omokri, claiming the difference between them is that Omokri is more open about his motives, while Sowore conceals his.
He concluded by alleging that Sowore is an APC spy, adding, “if you know, you know.”
