The founder of the House of Love Church, Evangelist Yinka Yusuf, has declared that former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will garner at least 30 million votes in the 2027 general election.

Yusuf, in a video that has since gone viral, vowed to throw his weight behind Obi’s ambition, pledging to mobilize Nigerians across the country to ensure his victory.

According to the popular evangelist, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) led by President Bola Tinubu is unsettled by Obi’s growing influence and the sustained momentum of the Obidient Movement.

“The reason why they are talking and putting so much emphasis on Peter Obi’s structure on social media is because they are afraid,” Yusuf said. “When people keep talking about the same thing repeatedly, it means it has caught their attention. If they claim Obi’s supporters have no structure outside social media, why are they also so busy monitoring them online?”

While acknowledging the prevalence of misinformation online, Yusuf insisted that the movement has the ability to sift truth from falsehood and build a formidable base. He stressed that he personally constitutes a “structure” for Obi, having already convinced thousands of Nigerians to believe in the former Anambra governor’s vision.

“Even before Peter Obi began to talk about structure, I told people that I am a structure for Peter Obi. People trust me and believe in me all over the world. That is why I can convince thousands to support him,” the cleric maintained.

Yusuf, however, admitted that Obi is not without flaws but described him as a leader worthy of trust.

“He is not a saint and doesn’t have it all, but he is a good man and I trust him. Because I trust him, we will stand with him. We are going to get involved in his campaign strategy and restructure it. The plans we have for Peter Obi, he won’t believe—it will change Nigeria’s political system,” he added.

Without disclosing details, Yusuf hinted at secret strategies being devised to ensure victory in 2027, stressing that with 30 million votes, Obi would comfortably win the presidency.

“As an evangelist, I know how to mobilize. I gather thousands of people to fill stadiums, and we will channel that energy into Obi’s campaign. If you can get 30 million votes in Nigeria, you have won, and we can get even more than that,” he said.

The cleric’s open endorsement further highlights the growing coalition of religious and political voices rallying around Obi as the nation gradually approaches another election cycle.
