Popular Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a strong warning against the possible return of former President Goodluck Jonathan to power, declaring that such a development would bring no meaningful progress to the country.

In a recent video shared on Facebook, the spiritual leader prophesied that Jonathan’s leadership, if restored, would be characterized by weakness, manipulation, and a lack of direction. According to Ayodele, the former president would serve merely as a symbolic figure, controlled by external interests and unable to make independent decisions.

“If Jonathan becomes president again, he will not rule; he will be a puppet,” Ayodele stated. “He will be directionless and lack a mind of his own.”

The cleric further cautioned Nigerians who may be contemplating Jonathan’s return as a viable political option, insisting that such a move would ultimately lead to disappointment and wasted effort.

“So let them try if they wish,” he warned. “But the end will only bring regret and frustration.”

Primate Ayodele’s latest prophecy adds to his long record of controversial political predictions, often sparking widespread debate across the country. His warning portrays a bleak scenario, suggesting that a Jonathan comeback would stall governance and deepen national stagnation.
