The Dooyum Dio Foundation Tournament delivered yet another exciting spectacle on Friday as Superstars FC Agric and Igba Aka FC Ansha battled to a pulsating 1-1 draw before an enthusiastic crowd of about 2,000 fans at Adzer Beke College, Korinya-City.

Superstars FC Agric took the lead late in the first half when Tersoo, wearing jersey number 5, confidently converted a well-taken penalty, sending their supporters into wild celebrations.

The momentum swung in the second half as Igba Aka FC pressed for an equalizer, and they were rewarded when jersey number 14, Terkaa Ushahemba, unleashed a stunning free kick that flew past the goalkeeper into the net.

Despite both teams pushing for a winner, the match ended in a stalemate, with end-to-end action keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

The Superstars FC Agric goalkeeper, Kase Avalumun emerged as the Man of the Match after producing a string of impressive saves that kept his side in the game.

The tournament continues to live up to its billing as “every touch, pure excitement,” with more thrilling fixtures ahead.

Football lovers are already looking forward to tomorrow’s clash on August 16, when City Galaxy FC Korinya-City will host Holy Cross Tian at the same venue, same time.
