President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to securing the release of the schoolgirls recently kidnapped by bandits in Kebbi State.
The assurance was delivered on Wednesday by Vice President Kashim Shettima during his visit to the state to sympathise with residents and authorities following the abduction.
Shettima, who was in Kebbi alongside the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, condemned the attack and described the situation as deeply distressing.
He noted that President Tinubu’s foremost concern is the immediate and safe rescue of the abducted students. The Vice President also praised the efforts and dedication of security operatives working to address the crisis.
