A United States–based non-governmental organization, Nutrition4Humanity, has partnered with Blue Ocean Health and Development Relief Initiative (BOHDRI) to combat hunger and malnutrition among vulnerable populations in Nigeria.
The founder of the NGO Prince Olugbenga Aderin , Baba Oba Giese of Ile Ife, said the NGO aims to support underprivileged children and communities with nutritious meals and essential supplies.
As part of the initiative, Prince Aderin led a team to Queen Esther Orphanage Home in Kabusa, Abuja, where they donated food items and fed the children.
The visit brought smiles to the faces of the orphans and their caregivers.
Speaking during the outreach, Prince Aderin expressed his commitment to alleviating hunger and promoting child welfare across Nigeria.
” we can’t wait for the government to do all , and I really appreciate our donors who have stood by us to male sure we contribute to the growth of this children and I call for more donors too”
He also extended appreciation to the Dakachi of Kabusa, Chief Samuel Gbow, for his support and cooperation in ensuring the success of the event.
Prince Aderin also appreciated the efforts of the Executive Director of Blue Ocean Health and Development Relief Initiative (BOHDRI), Mrs Aisha Aderin for an excellent partnership and said his doors were opened tor more partners.
Also Speaking, the Executive Director of Blue Ocean Health and Development Relief Initiative (BOHDRI), Mrs Alsha Aderin said , tm” we came to the home to give back to the society and contribute to the growth of the children who are less privileged”.
” It’s not their fault that they in these homes but as humans, we feel for them and see them as part of us too”.
The Executive Director appreciated the donors and people who contributed for the exercise and called for more donors to team up with them .
The organizers reaffirmed their dedication to sustaining the feeding program and expanding it to reach more communities in need across the country.
In their different speeches, the Darkachi of kabusa and founder of Queen Ester orphanage homes, Chief Samuel Gbow and Pastor Queen Tssen all appreciated Nutrition4Humanity and Blue Ocean Health and Development Relief Initiative (BOHDRI) for coming to kabusa and the home to donate items and feed the children too.
