Nafisa Abdullah Aminu, a 17-year-old student from Yobe State, Nigeria, has achieved a remarkable global milestone by emerging as the world’s best in English language skills at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom.
The prestigious competition, which drew participation from more than 20,000 students across 69 countries, saw Nafisa stand out for her exceptional command of the English language, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Her victory not only highlights her individual brilliance but also brings pride to Nigeria’s educational system and the entire African continent.
The TeenEagle Global Finals is an internationally recognized academic event that evaluates students on a wide range of language-based tasks, including comprehension, presentation, and debate. Nafisa’s top performance placed her ahead of some of the brightest teenage minds from around the world.
