Two brilliant daughters of Benue State, Akor Queen Mdooter and Tyav Mercy Doose, have made their families and state proud by graduating with First Class Honours in Philosophy from the prestigious Federal University Wukari, Taraba State.
According to their official Statements of Result dated June 23, 2025, both graduates were awarded the Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy) degree with First Class Honours, effective from May 29, 2025.
The outstanding academic achievement was confirmed by the Office of the Registrar and signed by the Academic Secretary on behalf of the university registrar.

Their accomplishment stands as a powerful response to stereotypes often associated with the Benue girl child. It is a testimony to the fact that, given the opportunity and support, Benue girls can thrive, excel, and lead in academic and intellectual spaces.
Social media has since lit up with congratulations and admiration for the duo, with many urging the public to celebrate such inspiring stories as widely as possible.

As the state continues to champion girl-child education and empowerment, the achievements of Queen and Mercy serve as shining examples and role models for young girls across Benue and beyond.
