Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Benue State House of Assembly, Ochi Igbabe, has been identified as one of the victims of the deadly attack on Otobi/Akpa community in Otukpo Local Government Area of the state.
The violent assault plunged the community into fear and chaos, resulting in reported casualties and forcing many residents to flee their homes.
In the aftermath of the attack, locals have renewed calls on the government and security agencies to strengthen security in rural areas and take decisive action to prevent further violence.
