President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the immediate dissolution of the Presidential Implementation Committee (PIC) on the Alienation of Federal Government Properties.

The development marks a major change in the administration of matters relating to the disposal and management of Federal Government properties previously handled by the committee.

Following the dissolution, all responsibilities and activities of the Presidential Implementation Committee will now be coordinated by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi.

The directive takes immediate effect, with the Office of the Attorney General expected to oversee all pending and future issues relating to the committee’s former mandate.

No official reason was provided for the dissolution at the time of the announcement.
