Hon. Vandefan Gemade, an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Jechira Federal Constituency, met with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Konshisha Local Government Area as part of consultations ahead of future political activities.
The meeting, chaired by Chief T.S. Adzaagee, was attended by several party leaders and stakeholders, including Chief Clement Adzuanongo, Engr. Michael Mitin Dzungu, Chief Mrs. Aseer Shaahu, alongside other members of the party in the area.
Gemade was accompanied by supporters and political associates, while the delegation was led by former Chairman of Vandeikya Local Government Area, Hon. Stephen Manta.
Speaking during the meeting, Gemade said his interest in the position is driven by the need to provide effective representation for the people of Jechira Federal Constituency.
He said his focus would be on unity, development, and creating opportunities that would benefit residents across the constituency.
The aspirant also stressed the importance of youth and women inclusion in governance, adding that broader participation remains important for progress.
In separate remarks, some stakeholders commended him for consulting party members and encouraged him to remain committed to party ideals and grassroots engagement.
Responding, Gemade thanked the stakeholders for receiving him and assured them of his readiness to serve diligently if given the opportunity.
