The APC Elders Advisory Council in Benue State has congratulated Hyacinth Iormem Alia on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary, describing his emergence as governor as a divine blessing to the people of the state.
In a goodwill message issued on Friday, the council, under the leadership of Barnabas Gemade as Chairman, alongside Chief Lawrence Onoja as Deputy Chairman and Chief Emmanuel Jime as Secretary, commended the governor for what it described as visionary leadership and commitment to good governance.
The elders noted that Governor Alia’s administration has continued to demonstrate dedication to infrastructural development, peace building, and people-oriented policies aimed at improving the lives of Benue citizens.
According to the statement, the governor’s leadership style, inclusiveness, humility, and commitment to justice and accountability have continued to inspire hope and confidence among the people.
The council also thanked God for preserving and strengthening the governor over the years, especially in his service to Benue State and humanity.
“As you commemorate this eventful 60th birthday, we pray that God Almighty grants you long life, divine wisdom, renewed strength, sound health, and sustained mandate as you continue to lead Benue State to greater heights,” the statement read.
The APC elders further called on the people of Benue State to continue supporting and praying for the Alia administration in the interest of peace, unity, and development.
