Thousands Gather in Abuja as Kumuyi Opens 5th Global Crusade with Message of Hope and Divine Power
Thousands of worshippers converged in Abuja for the opening day of the 5th Anniversary of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), themed “Christ’s Wonder-Working Power,” as the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, delivered a message of hope, faith, and divine intervention.
The opening session of the crusade was marked by a symbolic presentation depicting “open doors,” signifying that no distance, location, or life challenge can prevent God’s miracles from reaching those who believe and exercise faith in Him.
Drawing from several biblical passages, including Joshua 14:8, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Isaiah 40:28–31, Jeremiah 33:3, 6 and 9, Jeremiah 1:12, Acts 2:21 and 38, and Romans 4:19, Pastor Kumuyi centered his message on three key themes.
The first focused on the unshakable assurance of God’s wonder-working promises, emphasizing God’s faithfulness to fulfil His promises to those who trust in Him.
The second highlighted God as the performer of His wondrous grace, stressing that divine grace remains available to transform lives and meet the needs of believers.
The third theme underscored the power of God revealed through His worldwide goodness, encouraging participants to remain steadfast in faith while expecting divine intervention in every aspect of their lives.
Pastor Kumuyi concluded the message with prayers for divine visitation, healing, breakthroughs, and spiritual renewal for all participants and those joining the crusade from different parts of the world.
The event attracted several distinguished personalities and special guests from across the country.
Among those in attendance were Vice President candidate of ADC and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Information, Prof. Jerry Gana, traditional rulers, government officials, and Christian leaders.
Representing the Sa’Peyi of Garki-Garki Chiefdom, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Usman Nga Kupi, was the district head of Garki Shakwope, HRH chief TPl Stephen Shekwonce Yakubu who joined other dignitaries in witnessing the commencement of the international crusade.
The Global Crusade with Kumuyi continues with expectations of more teachings, prayers, and testimonies as participants look forward to experiencing God’s wonder-working power throughout the anniversary programme.
