Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving education and creating opportunities for young people in Benue State.
The governor made this known on Wednesday during an official visit to the Benue State University of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Ihugh, where he inspected ongoing projects at the institution.
Speaking during the visit, Alia said he was impressed by the enthusiasm and intelligence displayed by the students of the university.
“Today, I interacted with the brilliant and energetic students of the Benue State University of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Ihugh, during my official visit to inspect ongoing projects at the institution,” the governor stated.
He emphasized that quality education remains the foundation for sustainable development and assured that his administration would continue to provide the necessary support for educational advancement across the state.
According to him, the government is focused on creating an enabling environment where young people can excel academically and contribute meaningfully to society.
The visit also formed part of the state government’s efforts to monitor infrastructural development and improve learning facilities in higher institutions across Benue State.
