The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released its timetable for the 2027 general elections, outlining key dates for primaries and the cost of nomination forms across all elective positions.
According to the party, the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms will commence at the APC National Secretariat from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The presidential primary election has been scheduled to hold between Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Other primary election dates released by the party include:
- House of Representatives: Monday, May 18, 2026
- Senate: Wednesday, May 20, 2026
- State House of Assembly: Thursday, May 21, 2026
- Governorship: Saturday, May 23, 2026
The APC also confirmed the cost of forms for aspirants, with the presidential ticket pegged at ₦100 million and governorship at ₦50 million.
Breakdown of nomination form fees:
- State House of Assembly: ₦6,000,000
- House of Representatives: ₦10,000,000
- Senate: ₦20,000,000
- Governorship: ₦50,000,000
- Presidential: ₦100,000,000
