The Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Adamu Oyanki, was on Monday involved in a motor accident along the KeffiAkwanga highway.
The incident reportedly occurred around 10 a.m., raising concerns among political stakeholders and residents in the state.Following the crash, the severely damaged vehicle was evacuated to the Assembly complex in Lafia.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, alongside other lawmakers, visited the complex to inspect the wrecked vehicle.

Reacting to the incident, Jatau described it as unfortunate but expressed gratitude that no life was lost.
“We thank Almighty God for sparing the life of the Deputy Speaker. We are grateful that he is alive and safe,” the Speaker stated.
